This year we have held a very successful ‘STEAM Week’ in school on 13-15 March. Over the three days there were a wide variety of cross curricular learning opportunities and different activities linked to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. These photographs show some of the activities completed during this time.
To mark International Women's Day pupils from Years 7 to 9 have designed artwork that is inspired by a famous female artist. The artwork is currently on display outside the Art Rooms, with a selection published in this gallery.
A selection of art by our pupils. Pupils in Key Stage 3 have been thinking about the importance of art, creating wprk inspired by "Art is at the heart of..". Our Key Stage 4 pupils have been inspired by Black History Month and the centenary of the First World War, creating fabulous portraits and though provoking art work. Well done.
