PE Curriculum Survey for Pupils

Completing  this questionnaire is an excellent opportunity to shape your own curriculum in the coming years - don't miss this opportunity to tell the PE department what you want to learn!
 
HHGS Dhol group record Olympic track!
After practising with their Dhol teacher Anil each Tuesday’s after school, Hodge Hill Girls` School pupils went to a professional recording studio to lay down their tracks. The music will be danced to by dancers as the 2012 Olympic torch arrives in Birmingham this summer.

As the day started off, the excitement kept on increasing, even sitting in the coach driving to the recording studio was pretty fun and full of laughter. When we reached the recording studio the excitement increased and my thoughts kept wondering too what the day might have in store for us...

Face Britain
Year 9 Pupils have been taking part in Face Britain, the UK's largest ever art project run by The Prince's Foundation for Children & the Arts, producing Self Portraits to celebrate the lead up to the Diamond Jubilee and Olympic celebrations in 2012.

Every child's self-portrait will be used in a very special montage portrait of HM The Queen to be projected onto Buckingham Palace between 8.30pm - 11.15pm from 19th – 21st April. The montage portrait of HM The Queen will also be simultaneously showcased on the national network of BBC Big Screens in town centres and via the network of JCDecaux digital advertising screens in train stations across the UK.
