Building Aspirations
For young people, imagining what life might look like beyond school is not always easy. Seeing and hearing from former HHGS students who once sat in the same classrooms and walked the same corridors can make those possibilities feel much more achievable.

Inspiring Character
Education at HHGS is about more than academic achievement. We want our pupils to develop the character, confidence and values that will help them make positive choices and contribute to the world around them.
As we strengthen our work around character education through our partnership with the University of Birmingham and the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues, our alumni have an important part to play.
Real stories demonstrate qualities such as resilience, determination, courage, compassion, integrity and ambition in ways that pupils can relate to. Sharing not only your successes, but the decisions, challenges and lessons that shaped your journey, can have a lasting impact.
Making a Difference
There are many ways to remain connected with HHGS. Depending on your experience, interests and availability, our alumni could:

- take part in careers events, assemblies and workshops;
